I bought these due to the fact that Duluth discontinued their burely weight flannels. These are an excellent replacement. Sleeve length and tail length are great. These are every bit as heavy as the DuluthsLet me say right up front I am a woman and I don't wear an XL Tall shirt but every year my mom hands me down one of dad's XL Tall Flannel shirts for me to wear around the house or when I work outside. It's sentimental as much as functional I suppose.So, anyway... this year I hit the jackpot with Five Brother Men's Heavyweight Flannel Shirt!! It is heavyweight but not real stiff if that makes sense? My boyfriend (who is XL Tall) threatened to steal it so I ordered him his very own last week. He owns a working cattle ranch and basically lives in flannel all winter so when he says it's the best flannel shirt he's ever owned, that's some high praise.Just be aware, it is heavyweight but if that's what you are looking for, the Five Brother Men's Heavyweight Flannel Shirt is amazing. Can't say enough about how soft and high quality the material is.I can't give it 5 stars because I haven't been able to see how it will stand up to laundering yet. Fit was good right out of the package though.Love this shirt the extra long is perfect because i hate shirts that ride up on me when i lift my arms.. The button on the cuff fell off soon after i got it but i still use itI have one from 20 years ago and it is much thicker flannel than the new ones. But the new ones are thinker than most any other brand.I had to resew ALL of the buttons. I have been buying 5 Brother shirts since the late 80’s and have several still but this one was put together with shoddy work. Sure I would loose a buttom here and there but only after two washing’s this was unusable till I fixed it.I love Five Brothers. They have the best flannels. I bought three for my uncle for Christmas. He requested a 4x. Well, a 4x is about the size of a 5 or 6X in other brands so they are huge.This shirt since exactly as I had anticipated. Extremely well-constructed. Excellent value for the product.
