It is hard to find Big and Tall shorts that are the right length. All of my shorts seem to come down to mid-calf. These are the first that I have found that come down just below my knee!Thee are well made men's shorts. I like it that they have an expansion piece in the waist band to accommodate a few extra pounds.Husband liked them - they looked very nice.arrived on time; good fit; will order more colorsNice shorts, fit well in the butt, unlike some others that I had tried.These measured about 18 inches from waist to crotch. Rise is the distance from the middle of the crotch seam (right between your legs) to the top of the waistband. It usually ranges from 7 inches to 12 inches.Other I tried that were under 17" were too tight.Finding long rise shorts is very difficult as very few sellers have them any more especially with 36 inch waist. The shorts provide the long rise and I would have bought more but they only offer two colors in 36 inch waist. The black color faded some after first wash and the pockets should be deeper.Shorts are a lovely deep navy blue. They have washed well with no fade. Nice shirts, fit true to size.more strech in the wait.
