You could say that Yellow Paint is just a CD, but to me it is so much more than that. It's like a child, and it means the world to me. I have worked so hard on this, and just to hear it and see it is a dream come true! You can hear my heart in every song; my emotions pour out of each and every lyric. Upbeat and Dark songs alike, I put my soul into my writing. Yellow Paint is a direct reflection of not only me as a musician, but me as a person. This CD is like my diary, opened wide, and scribbled all over! Recording the CD was like living in a fairytale. Hard work yes, but I got to work with amazing musicians like Shawn Pelton who has toured and or recorded with Pink, Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow and Shawn Colvin, Conan O'Brien Keyboard wizard Scott Healy, Van Romaine who is currently with Enrique Iglesias and Steve Morse and previously Naughty By Nature, Deep Purple, etc., and of course The General, members of The Asbury Jukes and so many others! Although many of the songs were recorded in my own state, New Jersey, I was lucky enough to be able to travel to Nashville to record 'Lucky to Be Me', and 'What a Wonderful World'. It was the time of my life; I got to work with even more amazing musicians, and experience music in a whole different way! I was also lucky enough to get to work with the legendary Southside Johnny. He is amazing, and I really enjoyed doing our duet on 'What a Wonderful World'. In terms of other artists, I think I sound most like P!NK, Avril Lavigne, and Kelly Clarkson, I also believe I sound a bit like Demi Lovato. My songs like those of these artists are catchy, but heartfelt at the same time! I believe that there truly is a song for everyone on Yellow Paint! I hope that you get as much joy and reward from listening to this music as I did writing and recording it!
