Although these are tailored for a large man, it seems as if the manufacturer assumes all men with a 52 - 54 waist are very tall and have extremely large posteriors.Edit: 7/6/17Despite my dislike for the length — I am only 5' 8" — these are very comfortable shorts that fit me well for a normal rise pant. I purchased a second pair in the crouton color that arrived yesterday, and these measure almost precisely the same as the blue ones. Rear end remains large enough for Gov. Christie, but the coolness and comfortability are top notch.
