The amount of research I have done and pairs of boots I have tried and returned this year alone is bananas. I was determined to find the perfect boots for all cold weather days for once, and not have to look back/regret anything, or buy another pair, ever. Finally. Found em. These are the ones. I was after the following super specific list of ideals: tall/close to knee height for deep snow, super lightweight so I didn't feel like I was dragging extra weight, REALLY warm, not bulky, waterproof, high quality/LONG lasting, zipper for easy on/off, and not a ton of 'fur' adorning the top, and wanted them to look rad/unique/not the same old snowboot... I live in the Colorado Rocky Mtns and my toes are endlessly cold -- I mean numb/freezing cold and virutally never warm up after being out in chilly temps. I have another pair of Merrell boots that are not really meant for wet/snowy/rainy weather but are warm and so very cozy... and they still look brand new after years of wear. Then I found these lovely Tremblant talls and thought I ought to give their snowboots a shot. I should have gone straight to these! Sold. :)
