The cuffs are ridiculous. They're huge; cavernous enough to get your pants off without taking off your hardened-toe boot. This presents problems: you can actually step on your own pants and trip yourself, they get hung up on things all the time, threating to trip you, and they hang under your heel even when wearing a boot. The knees accept knee-pads, but the pads hang below my knee, even when kneeling.I've bought three of this style of pants in different colors. The neon ones seem to have the worst length problem; the grey ones seem ok. I have a work-around with a couple elastic Velcro straps. And that's the worst of it. Otherwise the pants are fantastic.Queda muy ajustado de cintura antes compre otro cat y me quedaba bien ….These are very durable, warm, and comfortable work pants that fit exactly how I expected. The only problem with them that I've had is that the velcro wears out faster than you could ever believe! Within a week of washing, the velcro was frayed and unusable. Now if you know how to tailor stuff, you can easily take off the old velcro and sew on some better quality stuff. This is my personal recommendation once you get them. Other than that, these are some of the best work pants I've ever bought and would 100% buy again.I really like this brand of pants. I have 6 pair: 4 black - and they fit great, 1 gray & black- fit too lose, and 1 pair of the Hi-Vis yellow and they are way tight. After 4 hours my waist is screaming. From them cutting into my sides. Bought all 6 pair the same size as I do my carpent pants. The pouch pockets are really helpful. But if you drive a compact car. You may want to check under the seat ( some other seats too) for the missing items. You thought you had in your pockets. IT happens alot. All the other pockets are nice as well. Really durable also. But absolutely NO welding.I had these in 2 other colors already. I'm a millwright and do a lot of dirty construction work. These hold up better than any other pants I've owned, very happy with themGoing by previous reviews I order 2 pairs, a 38 and a 40 My size is 3638 falling off me. Why do some reviews say order up 2 sizes? returned and ordered a 36 Amazon sent me a used 34 without tags! Just reordered and maybe third time is the charm. I like the pants, but I am patient willing to put up with it.Crotch became unsewn on the 3rd time wearing. If they fixed quality control they would be good pants. I will try the blackladder brand next time. The cat pads also are too short for the knee pad pockets. They might be ok if you order your pants kinda short, but I ordered 34's and my knee goes over the pad when I kneel. I bought blakladder pads and trimmed them to fit to get something that worked. I thought maybe all the reviews about the pants tearing were due to people maybe fitting tight in the thighs, but these fit me loose in the legs and they still fell apart. I would consider getting a size up if you try them, the waist fit but seems a little small. They look like the new kid in the sweat shop sewed mine together, had to burn off a lot of threads. Velcro ripped off the third week. Caterpiller should not have put their name on these...Easily the best work pants I’ve ever had, and I’ve had lots.Likes:-well made- great stitching-wear patches at knees and boots-great knee pad pockets that can hold some of the best knee pad inserts I’ve used-holster pockets than can be left in or out of the front pockets-back pockets with Velcro flaps-wide back pockets that allow your wallet to move to the side so you’re not sitting on it-lots of pouches, pockets, holders, storage-more than normal belt loops-correct sizing-good price by comparisonDislikes:Not one yet, after wearing multiples identical pairs every day for two weeksSeems strange to be excited about pants but in my line of work, the right pants can make or break comfort, productivity and efficiency. They’re a great pair of work pants! Breathable yet really durable like jeans. There’s a rubber inner belt that helps keep the pants at the desired height! Tons of pockets to hold your gear!I cut down 3 trees while wearing the pants, I have scratches all over my body from the tees, except on my hips and legs where the pants covered!I’m a 34/36” waist so I went with the 36” pants and they fit really well. There’s loops for a belt if need be but they fit really well!I have yet to wash them since I’ve only worn them once. Best work pants Ive ever found and for an extremely reasonable price. Pockets are good, my cell phone fits in the cell phone pocket even with its case (iphone 6, lifeproof case). Wallet also fits in other front pocket. Rubber lining around waist helps drastically to reduce “plumber’s crack syndrome” id you are squatting and standing all day. I found waist size fit a tad tighter than I was used to, but I went from loose with a 32”to snug with a 32”. The kneepad inserts are also a lifesaver, csnt reccommend these pants enough for any trades.Update: I have worn through a few pairs now, and One suggestion: improve the cell phone pocket. Reinforce the corners, slightly increase pocket size and increase the size of the velcro that holds it closed. Also one quality control issue is the pocket size for knee pads sometimes varies from pair to pair and 2 pairs have one knee that is very difficult to fit the pad into. Pants lasted over a year, 5 star still stands.Very happy over all! The pants are tough! Lots of pockets ! My favourite are the construction pockets that are hide away when not in use! So in between jobs u don’t look like your on the job! Lolthe inner waist lining has some sort of soft rubberized grip so no matter what u got hanging on you built the pants stays put! I can bend down in confidence not worrying if my crack is showing!Well thought out pants ! Looking to get another one! These are not winter pants guys nor water proof! The pants feel great so u feel as though they can do anything ! Be advised they maybe slightly water resistant but not proof and the is no inner lining to keep you warm! But they are great for warm climates every day usage!
