Feels very lightweight compared to most of the winter jackets I've owned and keeps me warm most of the time. When it gets below zero or there are strong winds on a cold day you can definitely feel it. Wearing long sleeves and an extra layer helps on those days. I certainly wouldn't recommend getting into a shirtless snowball fight or making snow angels in a bikini like in the Omni-Heat commercials because it won't warm you up that fast unless it's almost Spring. Also the Boulder is slightly darker than in the picture but not by very much. I'm glad I bought this jacket.
